When my Mom was there for a month they should have put pads down on the floor because of a fall risk. When they did not, She fell out of bed and the bed was only a foot off the ground, but Mom ended up with an inch goose egg on her head, at 94 years old. They nerd to study and active the word, CARE.

I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I THINK HAVING AN UNAVIBLE PHONE NUMBER TO REACH FAMILY MEMEBER FOR EMERGANCIES ON YOU MOTHER'S BEHALF IS BULL. THE MANAGER THERE HAS NO FEELINGS TOWARDS ANYTHING, ONE OF THE GIRLS ANSWERING THE PHONE ARE VERY RUDE. HOW ARE PEOPLE TO KNOW TO CALL YOU BACK? IF I GET A CALL FOR UNKNOWN NUMBER OR UNAVIBLE PJONE NUMBER'S I WONT LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE NOR WILL I THINK IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE WELFAIR OF MY MOTHER. I WILL JUST AS ANYONE WOULD THINK IT'S A TELAMARKERED OR SOME RANOM SALES CALL. I WONT EVEN LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE IT GET ERASED. THINK ABOUT THAT ALL ASST. LIVING AND NURSING HOME HAVE THIER NAMES THAT POP UP ON THE CALLER ID SO POEPLE KNOW IT'S THIER LOVED ONE CALLING APPARANTLY THIS PLACE THINKS NOTHIG OF THIER ELDERLY FAMILIES TO HAVE THIER NAME ON CALLER ID SO FAMILIES KNOW IF THERE'S A PROBLEM. DON'T WORRY COMPLAINANT HAS BEEN MADE!!!!

My friend's mother lives there and I hear what a nightmare it is to live there. She plugged in her electric chair then knocked out the power to her room for a whole weekend. My friend got her mother a microwave and refrigerator and they hadto remove the food from the refrigerator. She explained to me that her mother hasa 1/2 cold sandwich and canned fruit or three bean salad for their dinner. There are no choices or only 2 and its the same menu every evening. There are no appropriate snacks for her being a diabetic. She said that the medgivers wait to tell her that there are no pills left and my friend has to deal with Kaiser who's doctors take their time approving orders the patients already have on file. Her mother does without her medications because of poor standards and practices and no management involvement. The manager wont do anything to staff who overstep their boundaries taking food from her mother's pantry, coming in her room and not doing any work or offering to assist her in anyway. They want to visit instead of doing their job. She said her mother had to have a temporary foley catheter and the medgiver threatened to kick her out of the facillity. The manager there told my friend that she needed to pay to have the staff trained because she didn't know anything about foley catheters. She didnt know the laws about patients in assisted living can have a foley catheter. When my friend had to get the foley taken out she got different ordersfor her mother to do self intermittent catheter and the management didnt know what that was, management thought they needed training for it and told my friend she needed to provide someone to train the staff. The manager is not available around the first when a payment is due, takes long lunches and leaves early every day. The facillity was on lockdown ( no one in or out ) because they had a norovirus that spread over the facillity. Her mother was in the hospital to recieve fluids for the sever dehydration she got while living there. I'd give that facillity an F.
