Vista del Monte Santa Barbara Retirement Community

I have been fortunate to help a few residents make the move to this lovely Senior community. The vibe is very active and outdoorsy with lush grounds and gardens all very accessible for strolls, biking etc. The apartments are spacious and lovely with great thought put into the views from each window. Each apartment is private with a large outdoor patio or balcony. There are studios up to 2 bedroom/ 2 bath apartments. garages are also available. This place is a positive active and caring place to spend your retirement. There are lots of activities even socially distant ones during this virus to keep everyone inspired. The residents are welcoming and easily your new friends. Always smiling, the staff really cares about the residents. Oh and don't forget the wonderful food!! Always fresh and locally sourced. The grounds around this community are beautifully manicured and welcoming. A parklike setting with walkpaths and benches around the 9 1/2 acreas. Welcoming atmosphere near the beach and mountains!

I put my dad in this place after my mom passed away. In the beginning we were good! After 1/12 years the price kept increasing and the care was terrible I brought my dad to my house to visit and checked his diaper it literally crumbled in my hands . He had not been changed in at least a week. Not good care for your mom or dad nice property. Single apartment are nice but dont let them fool you.

Residents and staff are friendly. I feel like part of a big family.
