Nazareth House

Both my mom and dad are living at Nazareth House and it is the most incredible place. The caregivers are absolutely amazing and many have been there for a very long time. The nurses are proactive and have been true partners in the medical care of both my parents. The food is really good! My dad is still in the independent side, my mom in the 24 hour care center. Both places are well run and all my parents needs are met (meds, showers, meals, laundry, nursing, even a beauty shop). I can visit them and not worry about the care they are receiving. Also, the activities offered are wonderful: bocce ball, tai chi, music performances, parties, bingo, cards, and much more. There is an auxiliary of wonderful volunteers who bring many engaging events to Nazareth House. To demonstrate the level of love and care at Nazareth House, I can bring up many many examples, the most recent was the week of Thanksgiving. We had a plan to use Marin Transit to bring my mom (who is now wheelchair bound) to our house, but she had a very difficult day the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It was clear that it was not a good idea to transport her, so the staff met and decided to invite all 9 of us to eat Thanksgiving at the facility! I was stunned!! They set up a special room for us and served all 9 of us an incredible meal. They did this so my parents could be with their family. Truly above and beyond any reasonable expectation and an epitome of the spirit that is always present at the Nazareth House. If you want competent, loving, and dignified care for your loved one, look no further than Nazareth House. The love and care at this place is beyond anything I have ever heard about elsewhere.

Nice, clean, pleasant home with a family feeling, congenial staff, beautiful rose gardens and well manicured grounds. Residents seem happy and well cared for by staff.

Gram moved to Naz House when the rent on her Marin Co Apt went up $800.00 a month. She had been in Larkspur/Quarry for 15 yrs and was forced out. Fortunately, there was a lovely room waiting for her at Naz house. Wonderful staff-Pretty good food-very nice facility. Very popular Gram is very happy so we are too

One of my best friends moved into Naz. House - she did do diligence and checked out a few places. She knew a number of people who moved in prior to her and were pleased. She - and her family - are happy with the facility. I visit and am impressed by the staff and environs.
