I previously worked at Kensington Place and the company is top notch. The team at Redwood City/North Atherton are also the best in the industry. I love their philosophy of Happy team, means happy residents. I was very lucky to work here amongst people who truly have a passion and caring for their work. I would not hesitate to work here again or place a loved one. Everyone here are leaders and disruptors of the industry. The bar of quality is raised pretty high here.

Kensington Place made the last year of my dad's life as comfortable and enriching as it could possibly be. The staff was incredibly nurturing and loving. Everyone I met went above and beyond to help him have the best quality of life. For example, when my dad's appetite diminished, Chef Tony seemed genuinely concerned that he wasn't eating and asked what foods he could make that might tempt him to eat more. The staff also always made our family feel welcome. It is such a warm environment, not just because of it's beautiful decor, but because of all the people that make it their life's mission to take such special care of the residents. I will be forever grateful that my dad got to live the last year of his life in such a wonderful place.

It's really unfortunate that a false review was written with accusations that are far from the truth. My husband has been at Kensington for three years and has thrived. I visit often and find everyone to be upbeat and content. The personal care is excellent, the food is a wide variety and as good as a Michelin restaurant. The atmosphere is that of a true home. The care givers are extremely passionate and understanding of each resident's needs. I feel most fortunate to have found a perfect home for my husband.

A team of caretakers and experts with a commitment to quality care! A team involved in innovative, ongoing educational growth and providing extra-educational programs that benefit residents and families. Quality food and service. Wonderful, daily entertainment that everyone looks forward to. I am grateful for the responsiveness of the teams to specific family issues and the subsequent collaboration that follows. For these reasons, I find KP a trustworthy senior care residence and a place that allows its residents to feel at home.
