I have lived here less than a week .My experience very positive. I have advanced Parkinson's disease. I feel very safe and cared for by the loving staff. The administrator is outstanding performance of professionalism and kindness. She takes time to listen to your needs and wants. I have been to several other facilities which didn't even come close to 'fine gold manor '. When i did my walk through i knew i was home. It's been a tough transition however finding this place has put me at ease. Thanks to the loving and friendly staff. Sincerely Erik Polchow

I have been in many places, maybe 30 or more places during my life time and I have never been in a place with such outstanding services. I give this place an A+

I have lived in the facility for 3 weeks now and I don't see how this review will change in the future; however if it does I will update it.I looked at 5 places that supposedly had openings. However, when I got to two of them as soon as they heard the word Medi-Cal they had no openings. I visted Fine Gold 3 times before deciding to move in.Since arriving I have been hapy with my decision. Clean facility with a FANTASTIC staff who are always smiling a greeting me by name. The food is delicious and has a wide variety on the weekly menu.I could go on and on but would rather you come and see for yourself.I didn't want to move into an Assisted Living Facility but in was necessary and I am glad that I chose Fine Gold Manor. I look forward to seeing you and meeting you or your loved one.UPDATE 11/30/16As I mentioned in my previous review, I said if anything about the review changed I would update it.Since the last review, I must report that, if anything, the review was not sufficent. Unfornutately, I had to be in the hospital for a week and when I returned to Fine Gold I was very weak and slept quite a bit for two days. Management had personnel coming into the room on a regular basis to make sure I was okay. I didn't ask for it, they just did it. That's the way they treat all residents of the facilty. Further, I like many of the residents, am disabled and have special needs. Management has worked with me to accomodate this needs. Management and staff go overboard to help all residents to live in a comfortable, safe enviroment. I could not be happier to call Fine Gold 'Home.'If you are thinking about Assisted Living for yourself or a loved one (and I struggled with the thought of Assited Living) please do yourself a favor and come visit. You will be glad you did.
