I chose PVHCC because it was the closest to my home, I didnt want my family drive far to come visit me. I have been here a couple of times the facility is always clean, no smells! and the entire staff is so helpful from the CNAs to the therapists. I won't go anywhere else!

I have a loved one in need of temporary assisted living for about a month. Contacted PVM for information and spoke with Josh who was very understanding and helpful. He quoted a price but told me I should contact Cecy Salomon in admissions for more information since he was mainly in the SNF side of the facility. I called her three days in a row and left three messages all of which were ignored. On the fourth day I called the manager, Arron, to try to get more information. He gave me the same pricing and said he would have Cecy contact me right away. When she finally did contact me is was clear she was annoyed that I called her boss. She was rude and callus. She gave me different costs from what I received from Josh and Arron. When I questioned the number, she curtly said that was the way it is. When I told her, she was hard to deal with, she replied Ok. Have a nice day and hung up on me.It is very stressful for a family needing assisted living for a loved one. We should not have to deal with callus rude people. I can only imagine what the care inside the facility is for our loved ones.

Great nurses, doctors, social workers, directors and all staff. Physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist are very good and motivated to helped rehabilitation process for my dad. Dr. Ordonez is an amazing doctor. She was very professional, nice and spent a lot of time explaining any medical questions that we had. My dad and our family were very happy with everyone there. We loved the red carpet farewell celebration when my dad left there. Highly recommend Paradise Valley Manor. Thank you all so much for everything!

Are you ready for all this ? My mom was in this place for over a month ! I personally witnessed nurse conny empty a portable toilet with no cloves on and not wash her hands ! Same nurse conny take off the thermometer protector bare handed and put anther one on without washing her hands or cloves ! I asked hows my mom washing her hands after useing the porta potty and i got no response ! Not even giving a clean wash cloth to clean up before breakfast ! My mom also went 4 days without a shower i asked the nurse if she went 4 days without a shower and she said they dont have time for showers ! The mental people are screaming in the hall ways at night! The night nurse said nothing they can do about that but medicate them so the go to sleep ! Dont let the front of this place fool you go to the back of the hospital you will be in shock ! Its also took 3 days for maintenance to give my mom a new bed because i told the the wires are exposed and is a fire hazard ! The maintenance guy said he cand fix everything ! This is afer i told them i took pictures ! The food was another story most of the time she never got what it said on the menu and dident eat ! The last thing that was really upsetting was a patient passed away down the hall and the med nurse said out loud well at least i did my job ! Show some respect ! The patients are people who deserve respect and dignity ! Stop running from one roim to another because your overwhelmed ! Close the curtain when your with them so they can have some kind of privacy !

The activity center has an amazing service. The ladies that work there are full of love and passion for what they do. They make you feel welcomed. They offer lists of help and the decorations love it...
