READ BEFORE HIRING THIS ATTORNEY, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !!4 of the reviews here are from SHILLS!!. Three are from Louanne Foyil (A RELATIVE) under different address's and one is from Nicolle Visser his office manager. OH YEA THERE GOING TO BE REAL OBJECTIVE. Ms Visser almost destroyed my wifes reply declaration to the court and we had to redo the entire declaration, and she states here in this review that 'Friendly staff, organized and competent' WHAT A JOKE.My wife and I hired David Foyil to file a simple DVRO (domestic violence restraining order) against my wifes daughters boyfriend. My step daughter who was 16 at the time was seeing a boy who's father had slit his wrists in the kitchen of his own home and had been put on a psychiatric hold due to CRYSTAL METH USE. I had to call the El Dorado county Sheriff to do a welfare check on this home. Also I had found a picture on her minor daughters cell phone with cuts on this boys arm and the text read and I quote 'I hope this proves I love you' end Quote. So she once again was forced to confiscate her daughters cell phone due to this and repeated sexting. My wife and I had made her daughter fully aware that we now intended to file a restraining order and end this dangerous relationship once and for all. We also immediately informed her father Charles about this dangerous situation and told him in no uncertain terms to never allow our daughter to be around this boy or his father again. My stepdaughter had quickly grabbed the phone, ran away into a bedroom and before anyone could get to the phone deleted the pic and locked her phone, so we did not have the picture as proof of danger. My wife and I asked David Foyil our attorney from (Equal Justice law group) to simply acquire the El Dorado County Sherriff's call Logs which we knew due to the length of time the family had lived at that home and the fact that crystal meth was being used, would show the danger to our minor daughter. We asked David Foyil several times to request these Sheriff call logs but he did not take the time to get them and he wrote up the DVRO and the guardian ad litem with just the suggestion that this photo with the cuts to the boys arm had existed. The judge in department #5 Vicky Ashworth not only did not grant the DVRO, she didn't grant the guardian ad litem either. She set a hearing for my minor step daughter to come to court and explain why she wanted the restraining order against her boyfriend. WHAT A JOKE, we knew that was never going to happen and the judge should have as well but apparently Mr Foyil didn't explain the situation to the judge in the filing of the DVRO.We complained to Mr Foyil and his response was and I quote 'I feel responsible for this, so I'm going to take the $2000 you paid me for the retainer and just apply it to an order for request for full legal custody' (End Quote).Since we had made my wifes ex-husband Charles aware that if the restraining order was not granted that we would immediately file an order for full custody, once the ex-husband Charles got the news that the restraining had not been granted, HE IMMEDIATELY FILED HIS OWN REQUEST FOR ORDER FOR FULL CUSTODY, MAKING MY WIFE THE RESPONDENT IN A FAMILY LAW MATTER.Anyone who has more than two brain cells to rub together knows all to well that once your the respondent in a family law case, and we don't care what anyone says, YOUR DEEMED THE BAD PARENT BY DEFAULT.After many attempts asking My Foyil to sub into the case and become the attorney of record (which he said he would do repeatedly), my wife fired him and we both made an even bigger mistake of hiring Roger Kosla from Bowmen and associates. Read my review of them or suffer the consequences.I ran out of characters but do not hire this attorney !!!!!

If I could give him a negative review I would. I paid in full for a will and other documents and I review them and made corrections before the final draft and made one big correction or update. That update never happened and when I brought it to his attention in an email, he blew me off so I emailed his wife. Before I new it he sent me an email saying it was confusing in taking out one persons name and subsatuding it with another name. I gave him 28 days to make the corrections and emailed him again but I'm not counting on hearing from him again so I posted this review and contacted The Bar Association. Maybe I can get a portion of my money back because he did actually do some work on my behalf.

They were incredibly knowledgeable, and did a free consultation over the phone.
