The neighborhood is very beautiful, very safe, and makes an excellent place to stay while visiting Yosemite. Bear in mind that Google maps really does not work once you are through the paid entrance gate.Speaking of the paid entrance gate, the 'temporary vehicle access fee' of $31 is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. But the workers at the entrance are very kind and helpful, the neighborhood is indeed very clean and safe, so I guess nothing in life is free, but you get what you pay for.

Place is nice, but passing through the gate every time you have to enter is a real hassle.
