Not an equal opportunity employer. I was warned about Nicole and Myra from employees that are soon to leave the company, about how they (Nicole and Myra will not hire you) if they feel threatened by applicants that know more. How they place blame on the employees when staff quit. These two individuals make it extremely difficult to gain employment when you have all the credentials (BLS, AS Billing &Coding, MA, HCA registry, and VN graduate with more than 15 years experience in the field). But for an applicant that is one of their own they are hired without jumping through hoops. This explains why the frequent name changes accompanied by poor nursing care and unsatisfactory families, residents and staff. Instead of just changing the company name, they need to clean house and hire well rounded staff that can be utilized in multiple areas and build back up the company moral.

Dad doesn't complain about anything here. The dining room and meals seem pretty good. The staff are nice and friendly.

Very friendly staff and compassionate care givers. They look out for the interests of the residents. Very clean and happy environment. So glad our dad is a resident at Brookdale in Grand Terrace.
