I wanted this place to be a wonderful ending for a life well lived, but sadly 'they promised my friend the moon and gave her a paper bag'. They would prefer their residents to be high functioning, independent, and quiet. Anything outside of these parameters is considered combative and unacceptable behavior. Most of the caregivers are nice and genuinely concerned about the residents, but for the premium price you are charged, the aides are understaffed and under trained. If you raise specific questions about the level of care your loved one is receiving, management is defensive and it's always the resident's fault. The food is mediocre and often served cold. The maintenance staff is wonderful. The rooms are kept clean. The aides do a good job with laundry and nothing was ever lost. The facility is beautiful and has a great location.
