Sunrise Senior Loving is one of the best facilities in San Diego County. This is a small caring community staffed with kind, compassionate, professionals dedicated to seeing your loved ones not just live comfortably but THRIVE. The facility has been meticulously maintained and updated. It looks brand new. Staff & caregivers are the most professional you will meet. They are engaged with residents & guests. A loving, family community.

My mother has lived here for a year, since the new Director took over there has been a decline in care and services because of staff leaving. Some very competent employees that have worked there for a number of years have left because the Director made it clear her agenda was all about money and not the quality of care. Residents are leaving because of the caregivers filling in for positions that are now empty so that when they push the button on their pendant to alert caregivers they need assistance either no one shows up until maybe an hour or more later. I have arranged to move my mother into a safer and more caring environment. This will be my 5th move, there is a real need for keeping senior care home corporations and their staff honest and keeping their commitment to caring for their residents.

My uncle has been at Sunrise for the past 9 months and we are very happy with the staff, the overall environment and the care that he is receiving. The social work staff has been especially helpful and kind. The staff know and interact with the residents in a respectful way. The physical environment is elegant, light and comfortable. There are many activities from music to trivia to crafts, to movie nights. Recently my uncle was moved to the memory care unit and we found the staff to be supportive and attentive to his needs as he transitioned to a higher level of care.
