BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!This is not a place I would even send my worst enemy here. It's that bad. The staff does care its the director Lydia that does not care one bit. Very childish with her actions. I'm being evicted because my wife is to young. Even though she has lived here over 2 years. The director has been attacking me and threatening me non stop. And spreading lies that aren't true. She called me when I was visiting my 1st grandchild and told me if I wasnt back before the 1st she was changing the locks. I told her she couldn't do that. She said she can do what she wants. The attacks and threats have caused me to have to get on anti depressions. No one should have to choose from there wife of 25 years in Sept. Or a place to live. I'm to young to be her also but was given a special circumstances so my wife was until the 3rd director came along Lydia . She even barged into my room on the 1st telling me my wife kathaleen had to leave now. I told her to leave my room she refused. I told her call the cops then. She said she would and finally. Left. I have workers comp looking for another place but they move slow as molasses. I have major surgery at the end of month with 4 weeks of recovery. And Lydia is threating to have me evicted right after my surgery. This is not fair. Just because 48 and I'm paralyzed and had my shoulders destroyed in my accident. I need help so they want me to choose between my wife of 25 years or a place to live with help.this is not a choice. I just wanted to be treated like everyone else. But I guess that isn't going to happen. Enough with my problems let's finish review of westmont living of Brentwood. The food is horrible I won't even eat here. They have added so much extra work for the people that come to your room to help you. Laundry on top of all there other duties allowing down response time. They have lost so many employees they have to get helpers from a registry that are not always trained. I have had to have dinnertime weeks come to my room because they took 30 minutes and still couldn't move my wheel chair. This isn't like assisted living more like a prison camp. They don't have enough activities for these poor elderly here and most of the time they have to run there own bingo. So what are you paying for here to be bossed around and if you complain they attack and torment. Being disabled and in a wheel chair is tough enough without being tormented by a uncaring director that is very unsenitive to your needs. I just want to live with my wife like anybody else. it's not okay to treat handicap and elderly people like this. We are people to. The problem I hear from people that live at West Mont of Brentwood is that they thought the assisted living would make there lives easier but with the new director Lydia there lifes has got harder. And these are the happy go lucky people that always have a positive attitude and never hear them complain. It's the people that are always down. How they are dealing with the new director Lydia. Thanks you and I hope this helps you out when deciding for a home for your loved ones. The lack of respect that are giving to the elderly is sad.I wanted to give a follow up with my situation. I had my surgery on my bladder 91/2 hour surgery. I was supposed to be there for a week then go back to West Mont of Brentwood. My wife tried to go get supplies for bowel program. And found out that we where locked out of the room and my wife had to be escorted up to the room and then off the property. That blew my mind. That instead of making sure that I was taken care. Nobody even asked how I was. So I don't know how this is legal . But as Lydia the new director has told me she can do what ever she wants. I guess we will find out if that is true. But I do know you can't treat people like this without reprocussions. I would not recommend this for anybody. Just to add to to my review I had one of the office ladies out holloring at me saying I have no right to write a bad review. And refused to leave me alone and let my family get me packed up and moved. BEWARE!!

The staff at Westmont Living have been wonderful for me and my husband. The staff are loving and helpful as/when needed. We have been very pleased with the service from everyone, from the kitchen to the housekeepers and all the aides. Husband loved the food. Help always available whenever needed anytime of day or night. Housekeepers keep apartment clean and tidy,, especially when I am unable help myself.. The residents are friendly and appear to enjoy each other and the staff. Mostly smiles on everyone, and ready to give a hug if needed.Management are ready and eager to assist in any way they can. Often helping with errands and chores outside their regular duties. Regular meetings between staff and residence for feedback is great, and they hear us. I can't say enough good things about the facility from independent living to assisted living to memory care , and we have used all three at one time or another. They care and that is worth millions! Would definitely recommend this facility to my family and anyone needing assistance and loving care.

This facility provides a hostile work environment for their employees. They are bullied and afraid to stand up fearing firing. Hopefully, this environment will not negatively impact your loved ones.
