Worked in a similar place about 30+ yrs ago. The equipment changes, the patients and the work doesn't change (that much). Atmosphere okay, cleanliness better than average, okay much better than average, the chairs in Mom's room could use a screwdriver and two minutes. Longer than average to answer call lights. Staff morale-and this is SUPER important- seems better than average so far. Somewhat mystified by the lack of staff introduction. Guess I have had it drilled into my head at work. Every single time with a patient or family member:'Hi I'm _ _, I am one of the_, I am / will be _ today. Do you have any questions?' Otherwise so far seems like Bishop is lucky to have this place. Reimbursement trending how it does, it's a miracle this place exists here. Hope it stays open and fully staffed. Hopefully no need for lots of updates. Fingers crossed short term situation.
