Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch

I grew up around this ministry and I've seen how it's grown from 4 students in 1996 to 36 students in 2019. They had 8 staff and currently they have 47. Now I work here, too. We are constantly changing, growing, and seeking the best possible way to restore troubled boys when life-controlling issues plague them.Every day, I wake up excited to encourage the troubled boys in our ministry. I cry for and with them, for their families and the pain that comes when someone in the family has a life-controlling problem, and I daily put my faith in God as he works through our team to reach them. Walking down the halls, I daily witness students being encouraged by the staff members here to live better lives. We constantly look to find the seed of something good and do all we know how to let it grow.During Family Weekends, I see teams of support surrounding these families who have been through some unimaginable circumstances. Our hope is to help facilitate the rebuilding of burnt bridges with sons and their families, giving these kids their best fighting chance.Families placing their troubled sons anywhere are fighting for their son's best chance in seemingly impossible situations. If I had a kid struggling with this stuff, I would want to send him here.

$27,000 for the 90 day program, after insurance. $23,000 in addition for room and board during the 90 days, after insurance.Further disappointing was the lack of understanding from the head of admissions. Whether she suffers from complete obliviousness to socioeconomic factors or she has no sense of humanity, either way, it did not strike me as very Christ-influenced.
