They pull the CNA's to other halls forcibly and that's against the family policies since you have to be pulled once a week to a different hall, in addition they have residents with Covid-19 in isolation in one hall, limited equipments, rude aids and nurses, plus they lie about hiring, they get people in they know without following the protocol, using interventions in the hiring process, they don't respect the residents demands, such as keeping their favorite CNA in their hall to take care of them, it's a factory atmosphere not a facility. They don't respect the rules especially with residents that require two aids assistance, they use the lift singularly without taking precautions.

Very happy and uplifting place. Staff is great and so is administration.

It's all about the money now! Not only has this place become disorganized over the past few years but the administration is trying to increase their financial gains! Gone are the days of the non-profit status as they make their way to becoming a corporate, for-profit home. The people in charge are no longer committed to providing the staff needed to ensure proper care of our precious elderly. Teeth aren't getting brushed! Showers are being skipped! Patients are not being fed properly! And still they put out a facade that they care! The staff are doing the best that they can with what they have, but are told they are sufficient in number and more help is unnecessary. They used to hire based on keen thoughts and through knowledge. The staff always had such propensity to care. No longer does the administration worry over the quality of their nurses only their numbers. They tell the staff to be thankful that they are working the way that they are, because comparable 'for profit' homes in the area are working that way too. Let's just say it's better for their business if they don't have to pay more people to 'pick up the slack' of their already over worked CNAs and caregivers. The staff are left with no recourse but to accept their circumstances and your loved ones are the ones to suffer the consequences. That one star rating on Nursing Home Compare is well deserved and accurate for this facility! If you have loved ones at this facility, check in on them! Compare for yourself the quality of care they say they are getting against what the facility says they are. Hold them all accountable if you find discrepancies! If you are considering a home for your loved ones, stay far away until they can stop hiring their friends where they aren't needed, and instead start hiring more staff to take the load off of nurses already doing the work of two or three. Stay far away until the CEO and current administration start following their mission statement and not their greedy noses!
