We were looking for a nursing facility for an extended family member. My aunt toured every facility in Lauderdale and Colbert county. She decided on Cottage and we have been amazed The tour given by Tawanna absolutely sold us. We have been so pleased by the care. They whole entire staff treats us just like family. I would recommend this building to anyone. We started out in rehab and she loved it so much she didn't want to leave! Thanks to everyone here! You have been a lifesaver to our family!

I have been employed here since 2006. I have had two family members who received rehab at Cottage of the Shoals and one of my family members decided to stay here long term after rehab. I was satisfied with the care provided to my family and any concerns were addressed. We have a friendly and helpful staff. We have an excellent therapy department, excellent nurses and an excellent activity department. We have an excellent Social Services department that is very knowledgeable and helpful with locating patient resources needed at discharge. Our Long Term residents are a family and enjoy many activities, cook-outs, parties and friendships. Our entire staff supports activities for our residents in many ways. I would recommend this facility for you or your family.
