At first I wouldve thought this was the perfect place, the marketing director is wonderful. But then she had us sit down to sign the contract with the administrator. I told her my mother was able to get around OK but she was confined to oxygen 24/7. All I wanted was someone to bring her her meals in her room and we would pay more for that privilege. The administrator said ,and I quote, were not going to baby her! I looked in my husband and said thats it were done with this place! I was not going to have someone tell me youre not going to baby my mother, because I babied my mother! And I expected it if I was going to pay for it! Therefore, I have no clue what its like for a resident to live there so I cant comment on that.

When a employee has to rate their work place to increase the ratings- SHAME ON YOU! It screams there is issues, covering up.Never been there and will not because of that alone.

I highly recommend Country Cottage for those that want Senior Living with a home like feel for their loved one. Michelle Kelley is a great a person to work with and has a heart of gold. She also has a lot of wisdom and experience with Administrative.

What you see here is not what it is like behind closed doors. Poor management, most employee's do not care one bit about the resadent. I have personally witnessed someone refuse water to someone just so they wouldnt have to change there bed. One of many things trust me.
